Voices of Veterans seeks to generate meaningful, ongoing positive change in the lives of Australian veterans. This aspiration is far larger than a single work of art or art workshop. It encapsulates years of effort and rely's on the ongoing financial contribution of many individuals and organisations. Reaching into Australian communities where veterans feel isolated and unheard will take time, effort and money.

Thank you everyone who initially supported us and believed in the vision, before it happened. 

All funding offered by Voices of Veterans 2022 inaugural sponsors directly enabled:

• the full collection of 50 artworks to be beautifully printed, professionally framed, shipped, hung and exhibited together in Canberra as a full art display collection;
• feature art shows in Adelaide, Sydney, Toowoomba, Townsville, Canberra and Melbourne within festivals and events related to veterans and defence;
• curation and delivery number of art workshops and veteran wellness events in communities; and
• the bulk printing of a beautiful Voices of Veterans art catalogue.

Going forward, ongoing and new sponsors will help Mike continue to work and collect stories as he works to bring veterans together and deliver professional art workshops. These events give veterans new skills and connection with each other. This is critical to them not being isolated or alone in the time after their service to our nation. It also gives them new purpose and perhaps, a new start.
